Buildings and homes in the Netherlands are increasingly insulated. This degree of insulation is very good for retaining heat in a home, but it also means that the air exchange is minimal. As a result, the humidity of these houses and buildings is often too low, which can result in, for example, dry skin, cough, headache and problems with concentration.
